Veterans Day

I just wanted to wish all our service men and women a Happy Veterans Day and to thank them for all they do.

Two of my nephews are are currently serving. My family has a long history in the military. All of my Irish cousins who came to this country fought in World War I. My great uncle who was a machine gunner on the front lines actually died on Armistice Day. Two of my uncles also served in the Navy in World War II, and I had a cousin who served in Vietnam. Sadly, he was killed just days before he was supposed to return home.

Several more family members are veterans of the military in the UK and Ireland. I would never forget the contributions of women in my family. My aunt was an ambulance corps worker on the front lines in World War I before becoming a nun.

Our veterans have done so much for us, and they deserve to be respected and honored for their service!!!

Rosaries From My Collection

I’m still continuing decluttering my home and am giving you an opportunity to own some of the holy sacramentals I have collected over the years. Available for bidding on eBay right now are these two rosaries and a chaplet.

There is a no secret that I have a strong devotion to St. Philomena who’s come through on many of my sessions, especially when there is a loss of a child. Purchased during a trip to Italy I took in the late 90’s, I am also including a prayer card with it.

The orange rosary I purchased while working in Costa Rica a few years ago.

The final rosary is that of Santa Maria Novella Firenza that I purchased while in Florence in the late 90’s. I will be including a hand written letter of authenticity with each one.

Here you have the opportunity to bid on a truly beautiful Extreme Unction Crucifix. One of two that I received as a gift for my first communion when I was 8 years old, it is also known as “The Last Rites” crucifix. I took great care of it over the years and it is still in excellent condition.

Also on eBay, you have the opportunity to bid on a truly beautiful statue of Our Lady Of Charity also known as Our Lady Of El Cobre. Known as the Patroness of the Cuban people representing hope and salvation in the face of misfortune. She’s appeared in many sessions where the subject is going through a very difficult and trying time in their lives. I purchased this while visiting her shrine during a trip to Cuba.
