As promised, more sacramentals from my personal collection are up for bid on eBay including this statue of St. Soledad who was the foundress of The Servants of Mary.
I purchased this statue in the late 1980’s when I was working in New Orleans. St. Maria Soledad founded her nursing order with the dedication to nurse the sick and the poor. I have long been a champion of The Sisters Servants of Mary and had the great honor of being given a personal tour of their convent when I was working in Puerto Rico in the early 2000’s. It’s a privilege very few are given and one that I revere to this day.
